Ukrzaliznytsia Intending To Increase Cargo Tariff By 22.5% In October

The Ukrzaliznytsia public joint stock company intends to increase the cargo tariffs within Ukraine by 22.5% in October 2017.

This is said in the draft consolidated financial plan of the company for 2017, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The company does not intend to increase passenger tariffs within Ukraine in 2017.

The company projects net profit for 2017 at UAH 59.8 million.

The previous draft financial plan of Ukrzaliznytsia for 2017 envisaged the 22.5-percent increase in the cargo tariffs from July 2017 and projected a net profit of UAH 1.2 billion.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Ukrzaliznytsia presented its previous financial plan for 2017 with EBITDA of UAH 23.4 billion and net revenues of UAH 82.9 billion in May 2017.

In compliance with the international financial reporting standards, in 2016 Ukrzaliznytsia cut its loss 2.3 times or by UAH 9.5 billion to UAH 7.3 billion year over year.

Ukrzaliznytsia upped its net revenues by UAH 6.4 billion to UAH 66.6 billion in 2016.

In compliance with national accounting standards, the enterprise's net profit was UAH 0.3 billion in 2016 over the loss of Ukrzaliznytsia was UAH 683.3 million in 2015.

The Ukrzaliznytsia public joint-stock company started financial activity on December 1, 2015.

Ukrzaliznytsia incorporates Donetsk, Lviv, Odesa, South, Southwestern, and Prydniprovska state-run railroad enterprises, as well as other production and technological enterprises and organizations engaged in provision of freight and passenger carriages.
