Ex-Vice Prime Minister Of Poland Balcerowicz Retires From SAGSUR In April

Poland, Leszek Balcerowicz, SAGSUR

Former vice prime minister of Poland Leszek Balcerowicz stopped working in the Strategic Advisory Group for Supporting Ukrainian Reforms (SAGSUR) in April 2017.

SAGSUR told this to Ukrainian News Agency following an inquiry.

"The Strategic Advisory Group for Supporting Ukrainian Reforms (SAGSUR) was established in April 2016 on request of President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman... The group comprises 10 Ukrainian and foreign specialists. In April 2017, co-chairperson Leszek Balcerowicz, as he planned before, stopped his mission in Ukraine and did not prolong his cooperation with the group," reads the statement.

Former vice prime minister of Slovakia Ivan Miklos is the chairperson of SAGSUR at present.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, early in August 2017, the Presidential Administration said Leszek Balcerowicz continued to work as an advisor for President Poroshenko.
