Ukrainian courts have fined political parties and confiscated party dues for a total of UAH 1.3 million.
This is said in documents provided by the National Agency on Corruption Prevention, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
In particular, courts have confiscated dues of the Ukrop Party worth UAH 498,946, the Kyiv regional chapter of the Samopomich Party worth UAH 131,900, dues of the Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists worth UAH 101,651, and UAH 208,000 donated by companies to the Agrarian Party.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the National Agency on Corruption Prevention wants a court to punish former MP Petro Symonenko, the header of the Communist Party of Ukraine, for violations in financing the party.
