The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade of Ukraine expects the gross domestic product to grow by 1.8-2% in 2017.
The press service of the Ministry announced this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to rough estimates of the State Statistics Committee, the Ukrainian GDP grew by 2.4% in the second quarter of 2017 year over year.
The Ministry of Economic Development and Trade expects the GDP to grow by 1.8-2% in 2017.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in July 2017, the National Bank of Ukraine revised downward the GDP growth forecast for 2017 from 1.9% to 1.6%.
Late in May 2017, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine revised downward the GDP forecast for 2017 from 3% to 1.8%.
