FC Dynamo Kyiv demands official written guarantees of security from the Security Service of Ukraine, the Ministry of Interior Affairs, the State Guard Department to go to Mariupol for a match of the Ukrainian football championship on August 26.
FC Dynamo Vice President Andrii Madzianovskyi said this live on 2+2 television channel on Sunday evening, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"We do not need public guarantees. We need only official letters of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, SBU, and the State Guard Department. As soon as we get them we take a plane with pleasure," he said.
He says DC Dynamo Kyiv is also ready to play versus FC Mariupol on a neutral stadium.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 23, FC Dynamo published on its website answers from law enforcement agencies that they did not recommend holding matches of the Ukrainian football championship, including a match between FC Mariupol and FC Dynamo Kyiv, in Mariupol.
On July 24, FC Dynamo Kyiv applied to the president of the Football Federation of Ukraine and the leadership of the Ukrainian Premiere League with a request to hold the match versus FC Mariupol on a neutral stadium.
