The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine has accepted resignation of Chairperson of Ukrzaliznytsia Wojciech Balczun and appointed First Deputy Infrastructure Minister Yevhen Kravtsov acting board chairperson at the Ukrzaliznytsia public joint stock company.
The press service of the Cabinet of Ministers announced this to the press, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
During the sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Wednesday Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman announced that the government will consider the issue of resignation of Balczun and appointment of Kravtsov acting board chairperson of the public joint stock company.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Board Chairperson of Ukrzaliznytsia Wojciech Balczun has tendered resignation.
The Cabinet of Ministers appointed Wojciech Balczun the board chairperson at the Ukrzaliznytsia public joint stock company in April 2016.
On May 25, 2016, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Serhii Kravtsov the first deputy infrastructure minister.
In August 2016, the Cabinet of Ministers appointed Kravtsov the chairperson of the supervisory board of Ukrzaliznytsia.
