The Kyiv State City Administration jointly with Touristic-Information Center and Kyiv Tourism Alliance launched a KyivPass touristic ID-card.
Director General of the National Museum of History of Ukraine Tetiana Sosnovska said this at a presentation of the KyivPass project, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Head of Tourism Department of the City Administration Anton Taranenko said the project was started to develop a year ago.
A KyivPass touristic card can be acquired in touristic-information outlets in Kyiv, on the website of the KyivPass project or through the Kyiv City Guide mobile application.
The card will also sell at airports, trade centers, souvenir shops and hotels.
The card will sell at a price of EUR 15 for 24 hours, EUR 25 for 48 hours and EUR 35 for 72 hours.
Though the price is stated in EUR it must be paid in hryvnia equivalent.
The KyivPass offers a package of tours that includes two general tours of the city (Kyiv), tours to 20 museums, Kyiv Zoo, eight art galleries and two night clubs.
According to Taranenko, the number of locations and services offered by the card will constantly grow.
In particular, since August it is planned to include travel in Kyiv subway among services of the KyivPass card.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, 67% of respondents in a poll conducted by the Rating social studies group between September 16 and 20, 2016 considered Kyiv a comfortable place for tourists.
