Ex-President of Georgia and ex-head of the Odesa regional state administration Mikheil Saakashvili, the leader of the Mikheil Saakashvili New Forces Movement political party, has arrived in Lithuania from Poland.
He wrote this on Facebook, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
He thanks Lithuanians for supporting Ukraine and Georgia and for their position in the issue of termination of his Ukrainian citizenship.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on August 4, Saakashvili arrived in Poland from the United States.
On July 26, the State Migration Service of Ukraine stated that President Petro Poroshenko had deprived Saakashvili of his Ukrainian citizenship.
Saakashvili intended to reinstate his legal right to return to Ukraine.
He said he would appeal in court against President Poroshenko's Decree.
