The Intelligence of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine says two Russian military died and three got grave injuries when a BMP vehicle caught fire on the way to the front line in Donetsk region.
Press service of the Main Intelligence Department of the Ministry of Defense has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The statement reads that the BMP vehicle was on the way to the front line to shell the positions of the ATO forces when the driver made a mistake and the BMP flipped. The BMP caught fire and the ammunition exploded soon after.
As a result of the incident two troopers have died and three got grave injuries.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Defense Ministry's spokesman for the anti-terrorist operation (ATO), Andrii Lysenko, said that over the past week (July 31 - August 6), 11 militants were killed and 34 others were wounded in the ATO zone.
