As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in the evening of July 27, the High Qualification Commission of Judges selected the winners of the contest for 120 judicial positions in new Supreme Court.

Of the 120 winners, the Public Council of Integrity had vetoed 30 for failing to meet the criteria for professional ethics and integrity.

The candidacies of the winners will then be reviewed by the High Council of Public Justice and after that handed to President Petro Poroshenko for approval.

The contest for new Supreme Court started on November 7, 2016.
