The Prosecutor General's Office is investigating within a criminal case into numerous facts of criminal offences by leaders and employees of the National Anticorruption Bureau of Ukraine (NACB), including power abuse, tax evasion, forgery of documents, illegal disclosure of information during pre-trial investigation, etc.
The Prosecutor General's Office told this to Ukrainian News Agency following an inquiry.
However, none of leaders or employees of the NACB has been served any notice of suspicion so far.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Prosecutor General's Office told Ukrainian News Agency it continued investigation into a case against National Anticorruption Bureau first deputy director Gizo Uglava on suspicion of tax evasion and concealing his Georgian citizenship at the time of his application for job with the NACB.
