United States Not Excluding Possibility Of Providing Lethal Weapon To Ukraine

The United States does not rule out the possibility of providing lethal weapon to Ukraine, but the question is not immediately under discussion.

Spokesperson for the State Department of the United States Heather Nauert said this at a briefing on July 25, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, United States Special Representative for Ukrainian Negotiations Kurt Volker spoke in favor of providing lethal weapon to Ukraine.

According to Kurt Volker, this would not be a provocation.

On the other hand, enhanced military strength of the Ukrainian Armed Forces could change Moscow's attitude and allow Ukraine to defense its territory and to pull heavy military hardware out of Donbas.
