The first Azerbaijani low-cost airline Buta Airways intends to launch the Baku - Kyiv - Baku flight from September 1.
The company announced this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Flights will be performed to the Kyiv (Zhuliany) airport.
The ticket price for the Kyiv - Baku direction is stated at USD 30.
Additional services - baggage transportation, meals on board, check-in at the airport, as well as a choice of seats on the plane will provide for an extra fee.
The flight duration is 3 hours and 20 minutes.
The flights will be operated by the Embraer ERJ-190.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in May, Poroshenko instructed the Cabinet of Ministers to increase the number of flights to the EU with the involvement of the low-cost airlines.
UIA considers the Ukrainian air market not ready for effective work of the low-cost companies.
