Prosecutor General Yurii Lutsenko says the case against Member of Parliament Andrii Lozovyi from the faction of the Radical Party of Oleh Liashko will be closed if the MP pays taxes of UAH 1.8 million.
Yurii Lutsenko announced this to the press on Tuesday, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
He says the Prosecutor General's Office has checked tens of MPs regarding payment of taxes and a mere of 4-5 of them are facing questions.
MP Lozovyi is suspected of tax evasion.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on July 3-7, the Verkhovna Rada committee for rules and organization of work of the Parliament will consider motions for stripping deputy immunity from members of parliament Maksym Poliakov, Yevhen Deidei (both are members of the People's Front parliamentary faction), Andrii Lozovyi (Oleh Liashko Radical Party faction), Boryslav Rozenblat (Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction), and Oles Dovhyi (People's Will parliamentary group).
