The resolution of the Kyiv city council to rename General Vatutin Avenue into Roman Shukhevych Avenue has taken effect.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on June 1, 2017, the Kyiv City Council decided to rename Henerala Mykolaya Vatutina Avenue into Romana Shukhevycha Avenue.
On June 13, 2017, the District Administrative Court of Kyiv suspended the process of renaming Vatutina Avenue in Kyiv into Romana Shukhevycha Avenue.
