Member of Parliament Viktoria Siumar, deputy head of the Verkhovna Rada freedom of speech committee, has declared UAH 1 million of income from alienation of real estate and purchase of a flat in Kyiv for UAH 798,000.
This is said in the data posted in the State Register of Declarations of Persons Authorized to Perform Functions of the State or Local Self-Government, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Siumar's husband Viktor Taran is the source of income.
Siumar purchased the flat (107 square meters) in Kyiv for UAH 798,197 from Viktor Taran.
"During the process of divorce we signed with Viktor Taran the agreement on division of property of spouses. Under the agreement I own one flat he owns the other. He also paid me compensation for the land and incomplete house in Hlevakha of UAH 1.040 million or USD 40,000. Thus, the land and the house is his now," she wrote on her page on Facebook.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Siumar declared UAH 1.066 million of income for 2016.
