The Cabinet of Ministers dismissed Deputy Justice Minister of Ukraine Andrii Vishnevskyi.

Vice Prime Minister Pavlo Rozenko announced this to Ukrainian News Agency.

Deputy Justice Minister of Ukraine Andrii Vishnevskyi has sent in resignation on June 15.

Also, the Cabinet of Ministers dismissed chairperson of the State War Veterans and Antiterrorist Operation (ATO) Participants Service Artur Dereviyanko. The corresponding decision was made at a government meeting.

Dereviyanko worked as chairperson of the State Veteran Service since September 2014.

The appointment of the new chairperson of the Service will be carried out on the basis of competitive selection and after discussions with the relevant public organizations.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine appointed Andrii Vishnevskyi deputy justice minister on April 19, 2017.

The minister of social policy Andrii Reva advocated for Dereviyanko's resignation in connection with the revealed facts of corruption in the Service.

In August, the Kyiv Procurator's Office together with the Security Service of Ukraine detained an official of the State Veteran Service upon receiving UAH 230,000 of bribe from the commercial structure for winning the tender for the psychological rehabilitation of the ATO participants.
