Police Close Investigation Into Death Of Administration Deputy Head Taranov

The police have closed the criminal proceeding into the accidental death of Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Andrii Taranov.

Ukrainian News Agency has learnt this from a source within the police.

According to the report, the case was closed due to the absence of elements of crime.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the National Police had stated it considered accident to be the main reason of death of Deputy Head of the Presidential Administration Andrii Taranov.

Taranov died on September 18, 2016 in a clash of a Sea-Doo personal watercraft with a barge in the Dnieper river.

The expertise concluded he was sober.
