The draft budget resolution for 2018-2020 envisions a 38.3-percent increase in minimum wage to UAH 4,425 before 2020. This is said in the draft resolution No. 6591 On Major Trends In Budgetary Policy For 2018-2020 registered in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on June 15, Ukrainian News Agency reports. According to the document, the major tasks of the budgetary policy are robustness and sustainability of the budget system. The document envisions setting the minimum wage at UAH 3,723 from January 1, 2018, at UAH 4,173 from January 1, 2019 and at UAH 4,425 from January 1, 2020. As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the state budget for 2017 envisioned setting the minimum wage at UAH 3,200.
