The Kyivenergo power distribution company (Kyiv) states that as at June 1 the consumer indebtedness for heat energy was UAH 3.8 billion.
The company has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Most of the debt for heat energy, heating and hot water was accumulated by the population (UAH 1.6 billion), municipal utility companies (UAH 798.4 million) of the capital and organizations financed from the state budget.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, as at January 1, Kyivenergo estimated arrears for electric energy among Kyiv consumers at UAH 677.7 million.
