The Congress of the Ukrainian Football Federation (FFU) reelected Member of Parliament of Petro Poroshenko Bloc faction Andrii Pavelko as President of the Federation and elected Special Anticorruption Prosecutor Nazar Kholodnytskyi as First Vice-President.

Kholodnytskyi announced this to Ukrainian News Agency.

According to him, among the contenders for this position was Vice-President of the Union of European Football Associations (UEFA) Hryhorii Surkis, but he was not elected.

According to the media, the term of office of the president of FFU will be five years.

FFU also reelected Vice-Presidents Vadym Kostiuchenko and Oleksandr Bandurko.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Kholodnytskyi has applied for the post of vice-president of the Ukrainian Football Federation.

In March 2015, FFU elected Pavelko President.
