Court To Begin Examination Of Yanukovych's Case On Its Merits On June 26

The Obolonskyi District Court of Kyiv will start examination of the case against former president Viktor Yanukovych on its merits at 10 a.m. on June 26.

Judge Vladyslav Deviatko announced this, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

On June 26, the court will read the indictment.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on Friday, June 16, the Obolonskyi District Court of Kyiv accepted the indictment in the case against former president Yanukovych and refused to allow special (in absentia) court proceedings in the case.
