Ministry Of Finance To Lower State Debt To 55% Of GDP Before 2020, State Budget Deficit To 2% Of GDP

The Ministry of Finance plans to lower the state debt to 55% of the gross domestic product before 2020 and the state budget deficit to 2% of the GDP before the same year.

Finance Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Danyliuk said this on Wednesday, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the state budget for 2017 envisions UAH 1,716.630the ceiling size of the state debt as at late 2017 (66.8% of the GDP).

The state budget deficit is expected to be UAH 77.5 billion (3% of the GDP).
