In May, Ukrainian border guards serving at the Chonhar border checkpoint did not let 83 citizens of the Republic of Uzbekistan, five citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan, five citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan, three citizens of the Republic of Armenia, and two citizens of each the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation, who tried to enter Ukraine through the Russia-annexed Crimea in violation of the Ukrainian legislation.
Press service of the State Border Service of Ukraine has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in February, the border guards detained six Russian citizens at the Kyiv International Airport (Zhuliany) and banned them from entering Ukraine due to illegal visiting of the Russia-annexed Crimea.
