Ukraine has decided to stop filing lawsuits against the Russian Federation on the facts of seizure of Crimea and occupation of Donbas to the European Court of Human Rights.

Governmental Envoy to ECHR Ivan Lyschyna has said this at a press-conference, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

He said that there are five cases upon Ukraine's lawsuits against Russia in the ECHR.

Lyschyna noted that it was decided not to file new lawsuits on the described events.

He said the decision is linked to the fact that Russia starts to manipulate with the large number of case in the ECHR.

Besides, Ukraine asks the ECHR to unite all the cases upon Crimea into one and the cases upon Donbas into another one.

The ECHR has not yet provided its ruling on the request.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in March, Ukraine filed its legal stance and evidence in case upon seizure of Crimea by Russia to the ECHR.
