The Ministry of Justice of Ukraine states that former "state security minister" of self-proclaimed Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic Volodymyr Antiufeev directly managed operations on occupation of Crimea by the Russian Federation in 2014. Minister of Justice Pavlo Petrenko has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports. He said that Ukraine has filled evidence of Russia's involvement in occupation of Crimea in February - March 2014 to the European Court of Human Rights. In particular, officials who coordinated and took measures on occupation of the peninsula were exposed. The Ministry of Justice found out that the operation was coordinated by Defense Minister of the Russian Federation Sergey Shoygu, Deputy Defense Ministers Nikolai Pankov and Dmitry Bulgakov, General Staff Head Valery Gerasimov and other military officials. He said that Antiufeev is a Russian career military man who currently occupies the position of "vice prime minister" of self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic (DPR). The Ministry of Justice also exposed and filed to the European Court of Human Rights the chronology of seizure of Crimea by Russia. As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in March, Ukraine filed additional evidence to the European Court of Human Rights within case upon seizure of Crimea by the Russian Federation.
