The anticorruption bodies so far have not permitted suspended chairperson of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov to leave to the United States for treatment of health.
Ukrainian News Agency has learnt this from a source with knowledge within anticorruption bodies.
According to the source, Nasirov submitted a petition asking permission to go abroad for treatment, however, the court did not uphold the petition.
Along with the petition, Nasirov filed documents (medical certificates) validating his health condition and the need for treatment in the United States.
The source did not inform about the length of the period claimed by Nasirov for treatment abroad.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the National Anticorruption Bureau intends to complete a criminal investigation into the case against Nasirov before June.
