Ombudsperson Lutkovska Considers Blocking Russian Internet Resources State's Intrusion On Privacy

The parliament's human rights representative Valeriya Lutkovska considers that the Decree of President Petro Poroshenko to block internet resources of the Russian Federation constitutes the interference of the state in the right for privacy.

She has told this in an interview for the Realist issue, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The Ombudsperson considers that the state must teach its citizens skills of critical thinking instead of banning social media.

According to Lutkovska, if people were able to distinguish and assess critically the propaganda they would just dismiss the improper content.
