Courts Hand Down 9 Indictments For Administrators Of Anti-Ukrainian Groups In Russian Social Networks VKontakte, Odnoklassniki

Courts handed down nine indictments for administrators of anti-Ukrainian groups in the social networks of the Russian Federation VKontakte and Odnoklassniki.

Press service of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

In particular, since the beginning of May, Special Service officers shut down business of 10 owners and administrators that were administering anti-Ukrainian groups in Russian social networks.

Law enforcers unearthed coordinators of separatist resources in Kyiv, Kherson and Kharkiv regions.

The Security Service of Ukraine states that the suspects acted on orders from Russian special services and posted in the social networks information instigating to overthrowing of the constitutional order, changing territorial borders of Ukraine and urged to provide support and assistance to self-proclaimed Donetsk People's Republic and Luhansk People's Republic.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the SBU had estimated some 800 anti-Ukrainian groups were active in Russian social networks VKontakte and Odnoklassniki.
