Danyliuk Discusses Conditions Of 5th Tranche With IMF Mission

Finance Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Danyliuk has discussed conditions of receipt of the fifth tranche with the International Monetary Fund mission.

Press service of the ministry has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

On May 17, Danyliuk met with representatives of the IMF mission headed by Ron van Rooden.

The parties discussed further implementation of the IMF program.

The mission representatives expressed confidence that further introduction of structural reforms in compliance with the memorandum would facilitate accomplishment of the fourth review and receipt of the fifth tranche.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the IMF mission arrived in Ukraine on May 16 and will stay here until May 25 inclusive.

On March 11, 2015, the IMF approved the EFF (Extended Fund Facility) program for Ukraine worth the total of USD 17.5 billion.

Ukraine received the first tranche of USD 5 billion in March 2015.

This year Ukraine hopes to obtained three more tranches worth USD 4.5 billion.
