The state budget for 2017 envisions allocation of UAH 2.15 million for holding of Men's World Boxing Championship.
Press service of the President of Ukraine said this in a statement with the reference to results of a meeting of the steering committee on organization of the championship, the Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Youth and Sports Minister Ihor Zhdanov noted that almost all measures on preparation for the championship have either been taken or are being taken.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Kharkiv will host European Men's Boxing Championship on June 14-26.
