Twelve foreign citizens have applied to Ukrainian police since the start of the Eurovision 2017 international song contest in Kyiv (May 3).
National Police chief Serhii Kniazev announced this at a sitting of the Cabinet of Ministers on Thursday, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
He said most of them were victims of minor crimes against property and swindling.
He said the National Police did not allow gross violations of public order during the song contest in the city.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in the period of May 3 - 13, Kyiv will host the Eurovision-2017 international song contest with 43 countries registered to participate in the competition.
Nearly 10,000 policemen, officers from the National Guards and employees from the State Border Service and State Emergency Service will be called on duty to protect public order during the Eurovision-2017.
