A Russian ship attempted to seize a Ukrainian rescue boat in the Black Sea near Skadovsk (Kherson region) during Ukrainian regular exercises on April 24.
The Ministry of Infrastructure announced this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
According to the statement, the Russian vessel approached the Ukrainian boat, made radio contact, and demanded that the boat stop.
The team of the Ukrainian rescue boat refused to comply with these illegal demands, noting that the boat was in Ukraine's territorial waters, and then headed for Skadovsk.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Ukrainian Armed Forces intends to open fire if Russian military servicemen fire on Ukrainian military aircraft from captured drilling rigs in the Black Sea.
