The State Border Service of Ukraine says over 500 representatives of teams from 40 countries have arrived in Ukraine to participate in the Eurovision 2017 international song contest.
The press service of the State Border Service announced this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"To date, representatives of some 40 countries participating in the Eurovision 2017 contest have arrived in Ukraine," the statement reads.
The press service of the State Border Service says the delegations comprise nearly 500 members.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in the period of May 3 - 13, Kyiv will host the Eurovision-2017 international song contest with 43 countries registered to participate in the competition.
Nearly 10,000 policemen, officers from the National Guards and employees from the State Border Service and State Emergency Service will be called on duty to protect public order during the Eurovision-2017.
