State Emergency Service: As Of 7:00 A.M. Power Supply Absent At Donetsk Filtration Plant

The State Emergency Service (SES) states that as of 7:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 3, there is no power supply at the Donetsk Filtration Plant (Donetsk region).

The SES has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

"In order to ensure water supply to the citizens of Avdiivka (Donetsk region) a water reservoir was created that contains 4,000 cubic meters of water," the statement said.

According to the SES, discussions are ongoing in order to arrange for conducting repair works in safe conditions.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on May 2, the Donetsk Filtration Plant lost power supply.

On April 22, Director General of the Avdiivka Coke Plant Musa Mahomedov said that Avdiivka village (Donetsk region) and the Avdiivka Coke Plant were cut of the power supply.

Later the Donetsk Filtration Plant restored its work.
