United States Transfers Radio Communication Equipment Worth USD 21 Million To State Border Service

The United States has transferred to the State Border Service of Ukraine (SBS) radio communication equipment worth USD 21 million.

President Petro Poroshenko has said this during his visit to the SBS Main Center of Communication, Automation and Information Protection, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

President said that this technique will allow to improve means and tactics in the radio electronic warfare, enhance protection and state border control, improve protection of radio communications between divisions and structural units of the SBS, Armed Forces and the National Guards.

Poroshenko thanked Ambassador of the United States to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch for American support.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in late March, the United States presented four polygraph machines to the State Border Service.
