Court Prolongs Nasirov's Obligation To Carry Electronic Bracelet To June 26

The Kyiv Solomianskyi District Court has prolonged obligations of suspended head of the State Fiscal Service Roman Nasirov to carry an electronic ankle bracelet and not to leave the country to June 26, 2017.

Judge Viktoria Kitsiuk announced this, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

The judge satisfied a motion of the Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office and prolonged the obligations of the suspect.

In particular, Nasirov is obliged to carry an electronic ankle bracelet, not to leave Kyiv, not to leave the country (his foreign passports remain at the State Migration Service).

Prosecutors says the bail of UAH 100 million will be effective until a final verdict in the case.

The Specialized Anti-Corruption Prosecutor's Office hopes that the pre-trial investigation will be accomplished before June 26.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on March 7, a court sanctioned detention of Nasirov. On March 17 he was released from the custody following payment of the court-set bail of UAH 100 million.
