Presidential adviser and former first deputy minister of finance Ihor Umanskyi believes Ukraine has achieved macroeconomic stabilization and that the country has entered a state of stagnation.
Umanskyi stated this in an interview with the Ukrainian News information agency.
According to him, Ukraine can be considered to have been in a state of stable macroeconomic situation for six months.
As Ukrainian News earlier reported, the National Bank of Ukraine estimates that Ukraine's GDP grew by 3% in the first quarter of 2017.
The country's GDP grew by 4.7% in the first quarter of 2016.
The inflation rates in Ukraine were 1.0% in February 2017 and 2.1% in the period of January-February.
