NACP To Extend To 90 Days Checks Of E-Declarations Of Top State Officials

The National Agency on Corruption Prevention is intending to prolong to 90 days the time for full checks of electronic asset declarations submitted by a number of top state officials.

Ruslan Radetskyi, deputy chairperson of the NACP, announced this during a sitting of the Verkhovna Rada committee for prevention corruption, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on February 22, 2017, the National Agency on Corruption Prevention commenced checks of electronic asset declarations of President Petro Poroshenko, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman, and ministers for 2015.

Rules envisage that checks last 60 days, but the National Agency on Corruption Prevention is entitled to make a decision to prolong checks by another 30 days.
