The National Bank of Ukraine has estimated additional capitalization of PrivatBank at UAH 30 billion.
Chair of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeriya Hontareva said this at a roundtable in Washington (the United States), Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Hontareva said that once the audit is confirmed, the NBU will negotiate with the Foreign Affairs Ministry regarding the additional capitalization.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the Ukrainian Government decided to nationalize the financial institution on December 18, 2016.
To do so, the Finance Ministry rendered additional capitalization of PrivatBank for UAH 116.8 billion.
