Police Close Case On Death Of Former Head Of State Property Fund Semeniuk-Samsonenko For Absence Of Crime

The National Police of Ukraine has closed a criminal case on fact of death of former chairperson of the State Property Fund of Ukraine Valentyna Semeniuk-Samsonenko for absence of crime.

Mykola Zhukovych, the spokesperson for the Kyiv regional office of the National Police, told this to Ukrainian News Agency.

According to him, police have established that it was a suicide.

The National Police closed the criminal case in April 2017.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Semeniuk-Samsonenko was found dead at her home in the village of Chaiky (Kyiv region) in late August 2014.

Suicide was stated as the preliminary cause of death.
