The office of the prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea has lodged a lawsuit against a Russian air company to collect EUR 354,400.
The press service of the office of the prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea announced this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
The statement reads that the office of the prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea has lodged a lawsuit against a company performing daily flights to the occupied territories to collect EUR 354,400 which equals over UAH 10 million.
The office of the prosecutor of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea has established that the Russian air company has violated a number of laws of Ukraine, the multination agreement of 1981, and the Convention on International Civil Aviation of 1944.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in January 2017, the Court of Justice of the European Union (CJEU) dismissed the claim, filed by Almaz-Antey Air and Space Defence Concern (Russian Federation), seeking cancelation of sanctions, having ruled the freezing of the company funds lawful.
