The Prosecutor-General's Office (PGO) has sent to the competent Spanish authorities the documents necessary to begin the procedure for extradition of Inesa Kadyrova, the mother of the Member of Parliament Oleksandr Onyschenko (People's Will parliamentary group), to Ukraine on suspicion of involvement in the so-called "gas scheme."
Deputy Prosecutor General Yevhen Yenin announced this to Ukrainian News Agency.
According to him, the documents necessary for extradition were sent on Wednesday.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, the National Anti-Corruption Bureau recently sent to the Prosecutor-General's Office the documents necessary to begin Kadyrova's extradition from Spain to Ukraine.
