Rozenko Accuses IMF Mission Chief For Ukraine Rooden Of Lack Of Professionalism

Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Pavlo Rozenko accuses IMF mission chief for Ukraine Ron van Rooden of lack of professionalism.

Vice Prime Minister Rozenko gave the assessment on his Facebook page, Ukrainian News Agency reports.

Vice Prime Minister Rozenko was commenting on an article by Ron van Rooden published in the Ekomichna Pravda edition.

Pavlo Rozenko says the IMF mission chief for Ukraine does not understand Ukrainian realities.

"After the words of 'the expert' that the major structure of the pension system has not changed since the Soviet times' I lost any desire to read all this nonsense to the end...," wrote Mr. Rozenko.

Vice Prime Minister Rozenko also criticizes the position of the IMF mission chief for Ukraine regarding the cumulative system of pension insurance.

"As for the words on the topic of the introduction of the second level, I have no comment at all. The person does not understand what it is and how it works... Horrible incompetence!!!", he added.

As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Prime Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Groysman says he expects the Verkhovna Rada to adopt a law on the pension reform before July 15, 2017.

Prime Minister Groysman says the government's bill on the pension reform will increase pensions from October 1, 2017, to 9 million of 12 million pensioners.

Social Policy Minister of Ukraine Andrii Reva says UAH 11-12 billion will be required additionally after re-calculation of pensions in 2017.
