Court Orders Arrest Of Kyiv Traffic Police Ex-Chief Makarenko, Sets Bail At UAH 5 Million

The Pecherskyi District Court of Kyiv has ordered arrest of former head of the Kyiv division of the State Automobile Inspectorate Mykola Makarenko on suspicion of corruption and set bail at UAH 5 million.

A source in the prosecutor's office disclosed this to Ukrainian News Agency.

The court granted a request from the prosecutor's office to sanction arrest of the suspect.

The court sanctioned his arrest until June 13.
