In the first two months of 2017, the importation of commodities exceeded exports by USD 423.2 million.
The State Statistics Service has said this in a statement, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
In the first two months of 2017, the merchandise trade balance improved by USD 332.9 million year over year (negative balance in the same period of 2016 was USD 756.1 million).
In the first two months of 2017, Ukraine exported goods for USD 6,268.1 million, 32.7% or USD 1,543.4 million more year over year.
In the first two months of 2017, Ukraine imported commodities for USD 6,691.3 million, 22.1% or USD 1,210.5 million more year over year.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, in January 2017, the importation of commodities exceeded exports by USD 86.7 million.
In 2016, the importation of commodities exceeded exports by USD 2,885.8 million.
