An additional UAH 11-12 billion is needed for recalculating pensions in 2017.
Minister of Social Policy Andrii Reva announced this to journalists, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
He said that the Pension Fund accumulated an additional UAH 7 billion in the first quarter and predicted that all the necessary amount will be collected by October.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Prime Minister Volodymyr Groysman has promised to raise pensions for 9 million out of the 12 million pensioners in the country from October 1 if the pension reform proposed by the government is implemented.
