Chair of the National Bank of Ukraine Valeriya Hontareva has said that the cooperation program signed between Ukraine and the International Monetary Fund will allow the country to conduct external payments during the forthcoming three years.
She said this during her Monday press-conference, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
"Our reserves are sufficient and cover four months of imports. We expects that before late 2017 we will obtained three more tranches for USD 4.5 billion," she said.
The three tranches will let Ukraine raise its international reserves to USD 21 billion.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, Hontareva has decided to resign from May 10.
On May 11, 2015, the IMF approved the Extended Fund Facility (EFF) loan program worth USD 17.5 billion for Ukraine for the period of four years.
