The European Parliament has approved provision of visa-free travels for the citizens of Ukraine.
A total of 521 European Parliament members supported the decision, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Therefore the members of the European Parliament approved draft resolution putting Ukraine on the list of third countries facing visa waiver.
The Council of the European Union is the next Authority to approve the draft resolution.
Visa-free travels are expected in early June.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, President Petro Poroshenko counted on positive decision of the European Parliament on introduction of visa-free travels for Ukraine on April 6.
