President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko has appointed Maria Gaidar his advisor.
Ukrainian News learned this from the Presidential Decree No. 83 of March 28, Ukrainian News Agency reports.
Maria Gaidar was aide of Mikheil Saakashvili, then the head of the Odesa regional state administration.
Maria Gaidar is the daughter of former prime minister of Russia Egor Gaidar.
On August 4, 2015, President Petro Poroshenko granted Ukrainian citizenship to Maria Gaidar.
Mikheil Saakashvili was intending to appoint her deputy head of the Odesa regional state administration.
As Ukrainian News Agency earlier reported, on November 9. 2016, President Petro Poroshenko accepted resignation of Mikheil Saakashvili from the post of the head of the Odesa regional state administration.
